It was adventure and emotion; smile, faces and handshakes.
We set off by jeep and in a tent, with the desire to sleep surrounded by nature, admiring trees that we didn’t know about, joined by animals that became our friends.
We brought just essential things, our aim was to discover our land in all its beauty, starting from the woods, going through paths, getting through to people.
Our idea was to figure out how Sicily move, to figure out who are the protagonists of these projects, that have as a common and main goal the promotion of this land.
These people are more than we ever imagined. And it has been a wonderful surprise for us.
We travelled 3860 km and we understood that Sicily is so different, varied, imprecise and perfect at the same time; it’s generous, luxuriant, rich of nature and raw material. All the traders, entrepreneurs, artists and chefs that we met have shown us that it is possible to work hard also in Sicily, but above all that if you really desire to work in your own land, trying to change its fate, you can achieve it.
